As a long-time Florida resident and member of the South Florida community, John A. Neal has seen his home state boom and grow, face challenges, and persevere much like its residents. John understands his community’s history and needs because he and his family have been a big part of helping to shape and strengthen it.
John is a fourth-generation Florida community developer with more than 25 years of experience in land acquisition, entitlements, and master-planned community development across Manatee, Sarasota, and the greater Tampa Bay region. As President of Neal Land & Neighborhoods, he leads the firm behind North River Ranch, Vistera of Venice, and University Park Golf & Country Club, among other award-winning communities. A Harvard graduate and son of homebuilding pioneer Pat Neal, John combines deep construction expertise with a commitment to responsible, ecologically minded development.
