PARRISH, Fla. (August 31, 2021) — Neal Land & Neighborhoods, a Manatee and Sarasota-based master-planned community developer, is a proud sponsor of the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 Healthy Kids Running Series. In support of the Fall 2021 races, North River Ranch will host the pre-race celebration with a Packet Pick Up Party. The party will be held on Saturday, October 9.
The series is a five-week program that kicks off on Sunday, October 10 and offers age-appropriate, running events for kids ages Pre-K through eighth grade. Kids compete each Sunday afternoon and earn participation points each week. At the end of the series, on Sunday, November 7, all runners earn a medal and the runners with the most points in their respective divisions are awarded trophies.
“Healthy Kids Running Series is a fun, family-friendly program with the mission of inspiring children to believe in themselves, work hard and lead an active lifestyle,” said Laura Stefanic, Community Coordinator, Healthy Kids Running Series, Parrish. “Children of all ages and experience participate. We promote sportsmanship and personal improvement while having fun.”
The Packet Pick Up Party will be held from 3 – 5 p.m. at North River Ranch’s Brightwood Pavilion on the event lawn. During the party, Neal Land & Neighborhoods has arranged a bubble truck and treats from Kona Ice. Pre-registered runners can also pick up their series packet that includes a t-shirt, race bibs and prizes. Parents can get race day information and review course maps. There will also be on-site registration available for anyone interested in signing up.

Healthy Kids Running Series – Parrish is offered twice per year, in the Spring and Fall. As an annual sponsor of the program, North River Ranch also plans to host the Spring 2022 Packet Pick Up Party. The series takes place at Buffalo Creek Park in Palmetto.
Registration is available online for the full five-week program. Early bird registration is open until September 19 for $35 per child. After September 19, registration is $40.
