(Oct. 2, 2023) – Neal Land & Neighborhoods and HCA Florida Healthcare leaders gathered to announce the HCA Florida North River Ranch Emergency℠ center that will anchor the planned North River Ranch Village Center. This marks the kick-off of a multitude of diverse and exceptional services coming to the award-winning master-planned community that will bring a positive economic impact to the region through access to quality healthcare, jobs, education, and entertainment. North River Ranch is the flagship master-planned community of local land developer Neal Land & Neighborhoods.
The new full-service emergency center will be an extension of HCA Florida as part of the 22 acres purchased by HCA Healthcare last year for the buildout of a world-class healthcare facility. As part of phase one of development plans, HCA Florida North River Ranch Emergency will be a 13,950-square-foot facility with 11 exam rooms and a laboratory to provide emergency services for adults and children of all ages. It will be open 24/7 and offer X-rays, CT scanning, ultrasound, and other services.

As the wellness-focused center at North River Ranch, the Village Center will offer access to medical services, fitness, and natural spaces that reflect the active and healthy lifestyle of the community.
The medical facility, which Manatee County commissioners unanimously approved in May 2023, will be accessed from U.S. 301 as a part of the Village Center, located on the northeast corner of Moccasin Wallow Rd and Fort Hamer Rd. The Fort Hamer Rd extension, designed and built by Neal Land & Neighborhoods, will enable access to the new and forthcoming medical center.
